25 Tips How to be a Princess

#Nails: Light pink or clear polishes are both fitting and sophisticated. Make sure that they are clean and filed down to an appropriate length. French Manicures look fabulous and can make a girl look classy and elegant. Whether it's a home Do It Yourself nail session or at a professional salon, always try to have good nails.

#Start off Small: Attend friends and or colleagues plays and similar social events displaying the arts. Wear only the most formal attire with proper etiquette to match it.

#Make up: Apply it on carefully, but make sure not to overdo it and look too garish. Take care to make it look fresh and natural. Too many colors on your face just make it look like you're trying to hide behind your appearance.  Instead of presenting a facade to the public, it's important to have an open, fresh, honest look, which entails natural, flattering make up. Never choose unrealistic colors such as blues and greens.

#Hair: It doesn't have to be done in high curls or tight ringlets. Just make sure that it's moisturized nicely and combed. A cute up do when it's hot outside can look classy. Make sure you have a good hair care routine too - shampoo it, condition it and apply creams to get it as pristine as possible.

#Clothes: Choose clothing that suits you and your taste. But be careful; you do not want to appear tomboyish. Make sure the clothing you pick is clean and stain-free. Also, be modest! Being a princess means dressing like a lady. There is no need to show off.

#Never sacrifice comfort for style. A princess should feel at ease in all situations. Now, this doesn't mean show up at a formal dinner in a tracksuit, but know that when you are comfortable, people will be comfortable around you!

#*A Princess is a princess inside and out. So while you may look the part of a princess, you must make sure that you always portray a princess inside as well.

#Be confident. It's important that you like being yourself. If you believe you're beautiful, everyone else will see you're beautiful. Look in the mirror and smile, see how friendly and fun you look, tell yourself you're beautiful and smart, and never let anyone tell you anything different.

#Have [[Have Good Manners|good manners]]. A princess always has good manners, she doesn't swear or misbehave in public. Always say please and thank you, be respectful, be courteous, and be kind. Be polite to a person even if they are very rude to you.

#Be charitable. If there is a choice between doing something for yourself and doing something for those less fortunate, you must choose to forsake your own needs and help those who cannot help themselves. Some great things you can do for charity include: Raise money for the less fortunate, volunteer at the animal shelter, volunteer at the salvation army, donate the clothes and other thing you don't use to the needy.

#Be graceful. Grace is the ability to move through life as if you were a flower floating in a pond.

#Be compassionate. This means looking after others the way you would want someone to look after you, like tending to others in times of need or catering to the sick, the hungry, and the poor.

#Turn the other cheek. Princesses '''do not''' hold grudges, fight, or get revenge. Learn to roll with the punches.

#Be thoughtful. Think about others for no reason, send someone a card- just to say that you love them or heard that they were having a bad day- or make someone a sandwich if they say they are hungry.

#[[Socialize Smoothly|Socialize]]! Talk to people around you, don't be shy, because if you seem not to care about anyone, you'll be seen as somewhat of a stuck-up person. Go up to people and strike up conversations, and once you meet people, never ever forget their names when you talk to them.

#Smile a lot! A princess should always look happy, so don't frown. What will they say in the tabloids if you go everywhere looking angry?

#Be truly nice. It's a big truth that it isn't the tiara that makes the princess, it's what she has on the inside. Princesses are remembered for the good they did, not for their looks. Be nice to the ones who are sad, pay a honest compliment to someone, go out of your way to help people.

#Be yourself. A princess shouldn't be fake, or she won't be a true princess. Don't be someone else, be you.

#Do your best in school. You can't forget about your studies since they will help you very much in the near future. When you do get good grades, don't go around flaunting them.  Instead, you can help someone who has trouble in school.  Everyone is good at something, so you have no reason to be overtly proud of your accomplishment.

#Change slowly. If you are not a princess kind of person, transition very slowly day by day so that your friends and family do not think you are a poser or that this is just a phase.

#  Be caring. A princess must care about others in her life. If a friends family member dies do everything you can to make her feel better, maybe even buy her a gift. If you see someone fall help them up, if someone drops their stuff help them pick it up, and of course, don't laugh at people when they get hurt.

#  Stand up straight. Ever since ancient times, royalty have been trained to stand up as straight as possible to set them apart from common people. pretend you have a string attached to your head holding your head up high. Standing up tall and straight makes you look proud and majestic. Added perk: standing up straight makes you look ten pounds slimmer and is good for your spine, abdominal, and back muscles. Your posture can reflect a ton about your level of self confidence as well, so try to have good posture to show everyone that you are confident about who you are.

#  Be gentle. A true princess is never harsh or brash. You can still express your feelings without slamming them in peoples' faces.

#  Don't laugh loudly and a lot. If you laugh a lot they'll think that you're dumb. Also make sure your laugh fits into the "dainty" category and not the "disgusting" one.

#  Don't be very excited about a certain thing. This makes you seem immature and stupid. A princess must always stay calm in any situation.

#  Be Classy. Stick to your morals, and don't go to stupid parties with a bunch of drunk idiots. This doesn't mean you can't have fun, it just means you need to exercise some self-control.
